Thermal Image of Corroded Breaker Terminals

This thermal image shows the effect of corrosion on electrical terminals in a service panel. Several breakers exhibit abnormal temperatures and thermal patterns consistent with high resistance connections inside this Federal Pacific Stab-Loc panel. The infrared image shows hottest breaker with a temperature of approximately 257°F.
