Unsealed pre-hung door jamb

Infrared energy inspection shows air leakage at the perimeter of exterior doors. This is the result of the builder failing to air seal the space between the rough opening and the door jamb. No matter how well the door is weather stripped, the air will continue to leak from behind the trim until the trim is removed and the gap properly sealed.
