Infrared energy inspection shows unsealed air return at ceiling. This return is mounted in the ceiling with a hot attic above. It has not been properly sealed so it draws unconditioned, unfiltered attic air into the HVAC system which can be seen as the bright (hot) area around the perimeter. This will cost the homeowner dearly over time if not corrected.
